Welcome to the St. Gabriel Athletic Association web site. This organiziation dedicates itself to the success of the children of this parish. The SGAA is very proud of them, and all student/athletes who participate in our sports programs. 

Our fund raisers throughout the year continue to be successful. These events help to keep our athletic fees low and provide funding for our teams to participate in city-wide tournaments throughout the year.

The purpose of this web site is to keep everyone informed on sign-ups for teams, uniform exchange, and updates on teams and their performances. We hope to add pictures of teams to this site throughout the year. There are also links to the CYC, with dates for IDs and courses required for coaching in the CYC. In an effort to help with your questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at any time.

The St. Gabriel Athletic Association (SGAA) promotes the participation in athletics by student/athletes of grade school level.  It was formed to administer the operations and the funding of the parish athletics program.  Parishioners are involved as coaches and sponsors; young people are involved as participants.  SGAA fosters sound athletics through a program that promotes good sportsmanship, respect for authority, and self-discipline among the contestants. Emphasis is directed to giving our student/athletes an experience of playing and enjoying the various sports within a Catholic environment, valuing teamwork, sportsmanship, friendship, a sense of fair play, and respect for themselves, their teammates, their coaches, and their opponents. 

The SGAA Board meets once a month, from August through May, in the Association’s room at the Gabriel House.
